Guest Speaker : Captain Sean Bercaw

Visiting Assistant Professor of Nautical Science at SEA Semester, Environmental Education in Wood’s Hole and at Sea

Sean is the captain of ‘Tall Ships’ and Sailing Research Vessels, and is conducting a 25+ year Message in a Bottle project. Sean is also the Marine Projects Coordinator aboard US Antarctica Program Research Vessels and the scientific Navigator aboard E/V Nautilus.

These lectures take place at 7pm in the Mariners’ Lounge of the Seamen’s Church Institute, 18 Market Square, Newport. It will be open to the public without charge, though a suggested donation of $10 will help defray costs and fund the Institute’s outreach programs.
