Dear Seamen’s Members, Partners, and Supporters,
Seamen’s Church Institute and its Board of Directors have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Annual Meeting, originally scheduled to take place on November 11, 2020.
Since indoor gatherings are now limited to no more than 10 socially distanced people we had no choice. However, Seamen’s Church Institute remains active and relevant during these trying times, forging new partnerships with Newport Community School, Trinity Church, and IYRS. We continue the programs that serve our mission such as providing affordable accommodation to Crew, military and maritime students; serving our community meal each month and our holiday meals to those most in need; and hosting educational programs within our facility.
