SCI CELEBRATES CAMPAIGN CLOSE!

Over 90 donors and supporters enjoyed an Open House and Celebration on July 13 to mark the successful completion of our ambitious $2.5 million “History with a Heart” capital campaign! Retiring Board members Harry Anderson and Jack Ellis were recognized for their years of service to Seamen’s. President David Brown announced we had exceeded our campaign goal by nearly $100,000! Harry Anderson receives a Proclamation from Newport’s Mayor Waluk from Councilman H. Wintrhrop Jack Ellis is presented with a Richard Grosvenor watercolor of the Seamen’s building in recognition for his Board service
