We’re delighted to be part of the 2012 Newport “Spring Into Art” series of events with a special program on Saturday, March 31, from 4:30 to 8:00 pm.
Our Tales, Treats, & Tunes program is open to the public and will offer an enjoyable, affordable, and interesting afternoon and evening with some great company!
At 4:30 – Russ & Heidi Mead will share TALES of their trip from Vancouver, BC down the West coast, through the Panama Canal, and up the East coast to Newport with their presentation “10 Countries, 10,000 miles, 770 Days”.At 5:30 – We’ll have plenty of TREATS to share including the Aloha Cafe’s Clam Chowder, Incredible Coleslaw, Captain’s Cornbread, and Decadent Desserts.
Then, at 6:30 – Newport’s own painist Lois Vaughan will provide a delightful program of great jazz and American standards while we sip wine (or beer) as we sit back and enjoy the music.
There will be no charge for either the Tales or the Tunes although Treats (food & beverages) will be charged.
